Wallboard’s recent Tapepro and Trim-Tex “Work Smart” workshops held at Lidcome Tafe Sydney and Holmesglen Tafe in Melbourne were a great success. All the participants whether tradespeople or store staff gained plenty of knowledge from the presenters Tom Gill and Bill Coughlan but more importantly from the hands on running of the tools and trims.
Typical of the feedback we received was:
I would like to thank Wallboard Tools, Tapepro and Trim-Tex for making the work smart program available. I had the privilege of being able to attend the Melbourne class. I was able to gain some very useful tips on running the tools, including the auto taper, angle heads and compound tube. I was also glad to have the chance to run the new Booster box from Tapepro this will certainly find its way into my tool box in the future.
We also had the chance to use the mudset beads from Trim-Tex, including the new flat tear away bead. To say that these beads are impressive would be an understatement. Their ease of application and impact strength are both very good reasons to use this product. I for one will be promoting these products to my builders.”
