  • Q. What size should I cut out for access panels
  • A. For standard MDF and metal access panels you should cut out 3mm on each side larger than the panel size.

  • Q. What is the load bearing weight on Wallboard Trestles
  • A. Wallboard Tools Trestles are certified and tested to withstand 2.2kN per bay. That equates to approx. 220kg for each bay.

  • Q. Do I need to prime my access panels before I paint them? 
  • A. Yes, we suggest using White Knight Grip Lock Primer on MDF Panels and White Knight SLS Etch Primer (please check with your paint manufacturer for an appropriate alternative)

  • Q. Can I buy an extension for my panel lift that will accommodate 6m sheets?
  • A. No, the maximum sheet size is 1.22m x 4.88m. You can purchase an extension for the Wallboard Sheet Lifter that will allow you to lift a further 1.2m in height – increasing the height from 3.35m to a maximum height of 4.5m. Or, you can purchase the Edmaplac Mega Board Lifter that will lift 6m sheets.

  • Q. Can I use my Wallpro Vacuum without the filter bag in it?
  • A. No, you will void the warranty. Wallpro Vacuums are not designed to be used without a filter bag. 

  • Q. Can I use another brand to replace parts on my stilts if they fit?
  • A. No, you should always use the correct replacement parts to maintain and repair your stilts. (refer to your user guide for part numbers) Stilts should be inspected daily for any faulty or damaged parts and not used if there are any signs of wear or damage to them.
