FibaFuse® MAX is an innovative, reinforced paperless joint tape.

It has the same open fibre structure as original FibaFuse® tape, with a porous design that allows compound to flow through the tape for a stronger bond. This dramatically reduces the potential for cracks and eliminates bubbles and blisters. The blue reinforcement layer features a tri-directional construction that provides crack resistance in multiple directions and prevents accidental tearing of the tape on inside corners.

FibaFuse® MAX can be applied using either automatic taping tools or by hand perfect for inside corners, patching and repairs.

How is FibaFuse®  MAX different from mesh tapes?

FibaFuse®  MAX is a non-adhesive, glass mat tape with an added reinforcement layer that must be embedded into joint compound. Mesh tape is a self-adhesive fabric that applies directly to the drywall surface and is then coated with joint compound.

Does it matter which way FibaFuse®  MAX is installed?

Yes, you must apply the blue layer to the plasterboard when installing FibaFuse®  MAX.
