Recently we asked our Facebook fans what their favourite Trim-Tex product was and why. It was clear that Australia loves Trim-Tex – the response was overwhelming!
No mess, no fuss Tear Away beads came up trumps. You love the convenience and finish of this Trim-Tex time saver. The Tear Away strip acts as a guide when setting but also protects against damage, compound and paint. After the trim is set the strip pulls away quickly leaving you with a neat, clean finish with nothing more to do. Many trims feature the time (and stress) saving Tear Away strip, including a range of L beads, shadow beads and our expansion trims.
Next on the list of trusted Trim-Tex favourites is Magic Corner. Magic Corner is a Wallboard favourite – in fact it was one of the first Trim-Tex products we started to stock back in 1994. The trims soft, flexible centre allows it to act as an expansion bead at any angle making it the perfect solution for unusual angles and raked ceilings. Magic Corner is available as a traditional “spray and staple” bead or with Mud Set technology.
Relative newcomer Splayed Adjustable Outside Corner Bead proved popular in our Facebook poll. Channels down either side of the beads nose allow for a range of movement between 120º-150º. Trim-Tex Splayed Adjustable Outside Bead is an industry first – the unique design offsets problematic framing while leaving a crisp, splayed outside corner.
Rounding out your favourites was Trim-Tex Archway Bead. Archway Bead bends over backwards to create quick arches or seamless flowing features. The secret is in the pre-cut archway tabs allowing trims to flex in ways previously unheard of. Arch versions of corner bead, L bead and shadow bead are available providing smooth transitions between straight lines and curved detail.
