Small yet mighty – the 600mm Compound Applicator Tube

The Tapepro Compound Applicator Tube is arguably the most versatile taping tool of all time. There are 10 different mud heads and nozzles available for the Compound Applicator that allow it to complete a range of tasks from applying compound to internal corners to laying ribbons of cornice adhesive in preparation for cornice installation.

The traditional Tapepro Compound Applicator Tube is 900mm long and holds around 2.2 litres of compound which it can draw straight for the bucket.

Did you know that it had a little brother? The CA-T24 has a 600mm long tube with the same comfortable tube diameter of the original. It holds 1.64 litres of compound per fill and can be used with all of the current range of nozzles and applicators.

Tapepro 600mm Compound Applicator Tube (CA-T24)

Last month Gary Holt (Gary Holt Plastering) needed to replace his old Compound Applicator – he opted for the shorter CA-T24 Tapepro Compound Applicator Tube. After just a few days of use Gary was a convert.

This thing is the cats whiskers. I can’t see me using another brand of compound applicator again in the foreseeable future. I finished 150m of square sets plus 90 2.5m internal corners in an hour and a half.

He went on to tell us that the shorter size changed his body position making it easier on his shoulders and more manoeuvrable – a great feature when using the tube on stilts or from scaffolding. Gary averaged about 40m per fill when using it with his Tapepro Corner Finisher (CFP-75) to finish internal corners.
