Hyde was established in Southbridge, Massachusetts as the Hyde Manufacturing Company back in 1875. Hyde Tools has grown from its early start as a cutlery manufacturer into the leading provider of hand tools for jobs of many kinds. Today, HYDE® brand tools are used by painters, plastering professionals and renovators throughout the world. Not to mention homeowners!
Wallboard Tools started distributing HYDE® brand tools back in 1976 from our original Granville warehouse. Since then the Hyde range of quality tools has become Australia’s favourite plastering tool range. The Hyde Tools Black and Silver range of joint knives is the original nylon handle design that has proven the most popular Hyde Tool throughout Wallboard’s 40 years.
A few other items included in the Hyde Tools Australian range are hawks, taping knives, corner tools, jab saws and sanders.
