Trim-Tex Flat Tear Away™ Bead is not your average stopping bead. Unlike regular L Beads, Trim-Tex Flat Tear Away™ Bead has no return leg – making it the perfect solution for areas where a return cannot be slipped behind the plasterboard.
Flat Tear Away™ Bead creates a finished edge where plasterboard terminates – for example around window frames and doors jams. The 8mm Tear Away™ strip protects the adjacent surface from plaster, paint and damage from tools then leaves a clean, finished edge when removed.
Flat Tear Away™ Bead, like all Trim-Tex trims, is made from flexible, impact resistant PVC which means it won’t corrode and it’s easy to cut, sand, paint and install. For best results install 72-9000 Flat Tear Away Bead using Trim-Tex 847 Adhesive Spray and 10mm staples. You can download the full installation guide from our technical section here.
