A Grand Celebration with AWCI Qld

Wallboard Tools was excited to be part of the AWCI Queensland “Excellence in Plastering Awards” night on Saturday the 8th of August 2015.  The venue was Brisbane City Hall which wowed guests with the spectacular dome and intricate restoration work.

The 2015 finalists showcased excellent craftsmanship and inspiring feature work in domestic, commercial and unit developments completed over the previous 12 months. The overall winner was Dale Little Plastering for The Standard Market Company development in Newstead – congratulations to all the category winners and to the prestigious overall award recipient.

The winners of the hotly contested Apprenticeship Challenge held on the 20th of May at TAFE Queensland Skills Tech Acacia Ridge Campus were announced as part of the awards dinner. Congratulations to Nick Swayn & Matthew Osborne for CMG Plaster for taking out top honours as Queensland’s winning team.
