Wallboard Tools was excited to be part of the AWCI Queensland “Excellence in Plastering Awards” night on Saturday the 26th of July.
There were some amazing domestic, commercial and unit developments in the last 12 months on show as part of the awards. Congratulations go to the awards overall winner Wadsworth Construction Pty Ltd for the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre development.
The winners of the hotly contested Apprenticeship Challenge held on the 4th of June as part of the Skills Tech Acacia Ridge Open Day were announced at the awards. Congratulations to Jason Whitehead and Nathan Kostelenski from Scooter Commercial for taking out top honours as Queensland’s winning team. Nathan from Scooter Commercial was chosen alongside Bryson Purcell from Malone Plastering to represent Queensland as part of the National Apprentice Challenge to take place at the AWCI Conference in Queenstown, New Zealand on the 19-22nd of October. Special mention to Zane Whakarau and Thomas Moore winners of the Wallboard Tools sponsored Safety Award.
